Job Summary
• Manage the Procurement function by ensuring that there is adherence to the approved company’s procurement policy, contracts, SLAs, and best practices in procurement operations, policies, procedures and processes

Key Duties And Responsibilities
• Oversee the coordination of procurement activities to ensure cost efficiencies
• Communicate DCP’s overall objectives to subordinates and ensure mutual understanding of roles, responsibilities and accountabilities in the department
• Ensure the alignment of department objectives with overall plant objectives
• Oversee the use of approved systems/ framework to support alternative souring and the use of multiple vendors
• Establish strategic relationships with vendors to achieve cost saving and optimal quality of all purchases
• Resolve complaints from end user and vendor to escalate to the management where necessary
• Assume overall responsibility for timely delivery and adherence to lead time
