The HSE Advisor is a subject matter authority that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations. The HSE Advisor is the subject matter expert who will support the legal entity, to comply with. the implementation, execution and maintenance of the environmental, health and safety and process safety management systems. The HSE Advisor will be responsible for in-depth understanding and application of safe, compliant operational practices and demonstrate compliance with company policy, work processes, programs and standards. The HSE Advisor (level II, III) is part of the site / plant management team and will drive a sustainable and independent safety culture.

Success in this position is dependent on very strong interpersonal and influencing skills, sound judgment, prioritization based on risk, operational and technical credibility, initiative, implementing change, together with a good understanding of the products, processes, markets, and businesses served.
