Assist the branch manager in ensuring that stock items are appropriately and correctly handled and binned to minimize shrinkage.
Also to ensure FIFO system is being followed. Make recommendations and forward ideas to the branch manager to improve efficiency in storage, handling of stock as well as stores layout / flow.
• Inspect, examine, quote, assemble and load test manual hoists and lifting tackle RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuing internal control procedures are maintained regarding inventory items entering and leaving the store area.
• Ensuing an inventory vacuum system is always maintained.
• Restricting of access to the store, with visitors being accompanied at all times.
• On-time signing of waybills for goods received.
• Inspection of all incoming inventory items to ensure that the goods are undamaged, and are in-fact the correct goods as ordered.
