Introduction

This examination is being given to fill two (2) full-time vacancies in the San Joaquin County Public Works Department: one (1) in Solid Waste Division and one (1) in Fleet Services; and to establish an eligible list to fill future vacancies.

Pre-Employment Requirements: Potential new hires into this classification are required to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, arduous physical exam and background check as a condition of employment. Final appointment cannot be made until the eligible has passed the drug screen, physical exam and background check. The County pays for the background and initial drug screen and physical exams.
