What you’ll do

This role will be a resource for managers and employees across the organization in the areas of Absence Management including disability claims, occupational claims, medical accommodations, and all legislated leaves of absence.
• Receive and review requests for leaves of absence
• Submit cases to external vendors
• Liaise between our external case management service providers, internal stakeholders and our internal managers and employees
• Complete LTD documentation
• Respond to managers/employees through Workday cases
• Update Workday to initiate leave (paid and unpaid) and return to work actions
• Provide cross-functional support to the Time & Absence team

What you bring
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in an HR generalist or other relevant experience
• Understanding of Disability Management and/or WCB legislation would be an asset
• Knowledge of Workday would be an asset
