The Opportunity

Trocaire Sierra Leone is a partner in a very competitive consortium with Hellen Keller International which will be submitting a proposal to USAID in May 2024. The grant size is $45 million USD over 5 years. A core focus of the proposal is to build the capacity of 3 local partners to lead the implementation of more than 20% of the budgeted activities in Year 3, 4, 5. Trocaire will also lead on a $1 million USD innovation grant and will work with up to 3-5 local partners on innovative pilots that can be rolled out and sustained beyond the project.
