Our client has a big solar/substation project in Upington and is looking for a Draftsman, to start in June 2024.

Job Title: Draftsman

Location: Upington, South Africa

Salary: Market related

Closing date: End May 2024

Employment Type: Contract work

As a Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and development phases of the solar project.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Ensure that all drawings and plans adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Revise and update drawings as necessary based on feedback from engineers, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and documentation required for project approval.
