Summary Statement

The class is responsible for directing, coordinating and supervising highway, bridge and/or building maintenance operations within an assigned geographic area. Supervises assistant area supervisors, equipment operators, mechanics, and/or office personnel in assigned area or in support of district-wide operations. This position is required to work overtime as needed, and during storm events and other emergency events on short notice, and in some cases, no advance notice.
