Eden Ritchie is seeking an Assessment Officer to investigate, assess and determine matters relating to the delivery of Department’s services including building disputes, home warranty insurance claims, licensing and compliance.
• 3 month contract with potential for two x 3 month extensions
• Toowoomba location

As The Assessment Officer, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
• Process licensing, insurance and dispute management matters in accordance with delegation including declining claims.
• Undertake performance audits of contractors and certifiers and undertake investigations of breaches of legislation administered by Department through compliance activities, and prepare reports/recommendations and take action.
• Interpret and apply policy and legislation.
• Undertake research for cases and projects.
• Represent the Department in promotional and educational activities.
• Represent the Department in hearings before the tribunal and courts as required.
