Functional Safety Embedded Engineer

CSG are partnered with an exciting Robotics & AI scale-up based in Konstanz, who are looking to grow their team with a Functional Safety Embedded Engineer.

Day to day, you'll ensure the functional safety of robot systems, and be responsible for the design, development and documentation to meet safety standards and minimise potential risks.

You'll need:
• Professional level German.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years' experience in the development of safety-critical systems, ideally in robotics or automation.
• In depth knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849 or IEC 61508).
• Experience working to the 10218-1 standard.

Experience with C/C++ programming would also be beneficial.

You'll collaborate with engineers, technicians and other stakeholders on site, reporting into the Development Manager.
