Educational Background and Work Experience

Ph.D. or M. Tech in Metallurgical engineering & B. Tech in Metallurgy/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering

+ 2 years’ minimum experience in Steel making & Casting area

Expertise in CFD and thermodynamic software like ANSYS Fluent, Thermocalc, FactSage etc.

Expertise in Transport phenomenon and heat transfer, process modelling (physical or mathematical modelling), data analysis, computer languages like MATLAB, Python etc.

Hands on experience on equipment’s like optical microscope, SEM, Automated Inclusion analysis, XRD etc.

Purpose

To identify and execute R&D projects in continuous casting to improve process parameters, reduce cost of production and/or improve quality of product as a researcher.
