We are a small rural 501(c)3 nonprofit NO-KILL dog and cat rescue in central Missouri. We operate solely with the help of volunteers and public donations - rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding good homes for dogs and cats. Working with local schools, our community, and help from many individuals with similar interests, we strive to promote kindness and compassion in our world. We have opportunities for hands-on volunteers to work directly with dogs and cats, in our thrift store, and/or on building and grounds maintenance and repair! As a small rural nonprofit charity dog and cat rescue managed and staffed entirely by volunteers, we need additional help in caring for the animals, socializing and training them for successful adoption, helping with adoption and fundraising events, and in many other aspects of the work we do.
