JOB SPECIFICATION:

The successful candidate will possess a sound knowledge in machining, practices with a proven track record. He/she will be a confident person with high attention to detail and great organisation skills. Working within a team environment is an essential part of the business, but he/she must also possess the ability to work under their own initiative. Good communication skills are a must as he/she will be working in a highly demanding customer service environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 12

• 3 years' experience as a machine operator working on CNC machines

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure a timeous, economic and efficient Machine Shop service.

• Must be able to operate machine shop machines (programmable and non-programmable), including loading/setup.

• Must be able to use and read various basic measurement instruments.

• Must be able to read and understand technical drawings.
