Introduction

We are looking for a Weaving Technician to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Setup, production, and plant housekeeping of looms.
• Stripping and overall maintenance of the looms.
• Service and repair modules according to required standards.
• Ordering of spares to ensure there is always spares in stock.
• Reduce breakdowns and spares usage to an acceptable level.
• Winder maintenance according to required standards.
• Assist in supervision of staff.

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Matric
• Weaving Mechanical Trade and/or other relevant Technician certificates/training
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good mathematical ability and computer skills.
• Upholding and maintaining administrative procedures, systems, and control.
• Very good knowledge of the manufacturing process, machines and products involved.
