TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MANAGES THE HOTEL’S ACTIVE AND AGRESSIVE SALES FUNCTION

1- Set up appropriate filing systems of existing and potential accounts, keeping up to date and properly categorized.

2- Research the market on a continuing basis, to determine where business comes from, how it is influenced, who the hotel clients are, how they normally arrive in the locations, etc..

3- Establish, maintain and use his library of reference materials, periodicals, texts and sales leads: stay abreast of market trends and hotel selling techniques.

4- Together with the DOS&M formulate a sales & marketing program one year in advance and plan week to week sales activities with a view to maximizing the use of staff time and promotion money.
