This is a Full Time, At-Will position

Under the direction of the City Manager, this position is responsible for developing, leading, and administering the City’s economic development programs including planning and performing professional and community economic development programs and initiatives. This includes the areas of strategic planning, economic development, business retention and expansion, marketing/business attraction, small business and entrepreneurship support, community development, land use and real estate development, and workforce development to generate economic growth and impact in the City of Rio Rancho. The primary area of responsibility is Economic Development/Business Relations. This requires coordination and interaction with state, regional and local economic development organizations.
