About The Opportunity

If you are reliable, energetic, passionate about animal welfare, and have experience in animal care then this is the role for you!

Following training, this part time role, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Glenelg Shire Animal Welfare Centre. Our pound and shelter operations are an integral service for our community, along with upholding a high standard of care for the animals housed at the facility.

In this role, you will be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment and have excellent communication skills. While also being confident and competent in handling cats and dogs of all temperaments daily and take pride in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe facility.

This is a flexible role and will require regular weekend work as needed.
