This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress a career in the logistics industry and to work for one of the UK’s leading logistics companies who are continually growing.

Due to expansion and a new customer win, they are seeking a Transport operator to join the Peterborough operation.

Duties include
• Daily management of the transport plan and ensuring all SLA’ requirements are adhered to whilst working on the customers site
• Working closely with the warehouse team regrading stock availability
• Supporting with re planning routes and drivers in the UK for up to 15 vehicles daily
• Liaising with other depots to ensure vehicle availability
• Dealing with drivers face to face and over the phone

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in transport operations and planning, use of computerised systems and an excellent geographical knowledge of the UK. You must be a self-starter, be able to work under pressure... More Detail
