About the Role You will be based at Port Hedland on a fly-in fly-out 8/6 12 hrs roster. Technical Officer Communications focus is to support Network Operation Centre which is the hub of the 'Operating and Control Systems' to safely operate Trains on the WAIO Network. Reporting to the Communications Supervisor, within the Rail Communications team responsibilities include: An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development. Completes scheduled maintenance tasks & allocated faults, rectifying them in a timely manner. Completes daily time confirmations, including fault data capture and accurate time allocation. Raise SAP notifications for faults and issues for maintenance. Analysing equipment failure trends and recommend replacement of equipment and or components.
