The Harnett County Health Department is seeking a Public Health Nurse Director responsible for planning, organizing and directing the public health nursing program of the department with accountability for administrative, supervisory, and technical components. This employee provides programmatic and personnel guidance, management, planning, and evaluation of all activities of a varied and relatively complex combination of programs. Employee must monitor the trends in the community served and adjust programs as needed.

This employee is responsible for the supervision of the following programs: Family Planning, Adult Health, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Communicable Diseases, Child Health, Immunization and Immunization Action Plan, Prenatal (Maternal Health), and Women's Wellness Program.
