The post holder will be responsible for the accurate and timely production of management accounts for the division (designated areas within it) following agreed monthly deadlines. They will be expected to produce high quality financial reports and analysis, including non-financial data and identify and explain variances and trends.

Pro-actively seek ways to improve monthly reporting processes, sharing practice and challenging status quo by working collaboratively across the financial management team and the wider finance team.

The post holder will also ensure that the Head of Financial Reporting is made aware of the monthly journals, invoices raised and other work undertaken by maintaining and presenting workings/backing papers and any other appropriate records. They will also verbally update and escalate to the Finance Business Partner information arising in relation to financial performance or risks; in a timely manner.
