As a S&T Research Chemist, you will conduct research and development of new technologies as a part of the Engineering Team at PPG’s Polymer Research Center. You will lead small technical projects or pieces of a larger technical project and lead strategic project deliverables. You will verify conceptual engineering designs, speed up product and process development, ensure robust process scale up, promote continuous improvement to manufacturing by applying engineering principles and, desirable, by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software.

You will report to S&T Research Chemist, Lead.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead projects using standard PPG technology and methods, or current scientific understanding.
