We are looking for 2 master's thesis students with Engineering background. Finite Element Method background is meritorious.

You will Explore the Target Safe-Space for Repositioning Front Row Occupants using Motorized Pre-Pretensioners in Pre-Crash.

The primary aim of the study is to analyze the sensitivity of injury risks in crashes for out-of-position occupant postures and to determine a "safe zone" for different occupant sizes (5th, 50th and 95th percentile) beyond which injury risks might substantially escalate.

In addition to your academic supervisor, you will receive a committed and knowledgeable supervisor at Autoliv. The work is carried out on site at Autoliv's premises in Vårgårda.
