Job summary

We are looking to recruit a Health Care Support Worker to join our well-established community mental health team.

The community mental health team work with people who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties. Roles include undertaking comprehensive assessments of need and supporting people through their journey of recovery from mental health difficulties.

The role of the support worker is to be part of/compliment the community mental health multi disciplinary team in delivering interventions and support to promote the recovery people experiencing mental health difficulties.

The role of the support worker within the community mental health team is varied and there are opportunities for staff to develop skills in supporting therapeutic interventions, working under the supervision of a team of experienced senior mental health practitioners.
