**Your Role & Responsibilities**
- The Project Buyer will be the interface towards projects and suppliers on his segments until DV phase is completed.
- Work with Engineering at initial design concept to assist with attaining target cost.
- Evaluate and assess supplier’s quotations to ensure commercial, technical and quality requirements are achieved.
- Pre-select suppliers (capable and potential)
- Ensure creation of list of critical purchased components in conjunction with Quality and Engineer
- Obtain and evaluate offers and prices for the RFQ.
- Create price comparison sheets
- Track and report savings
- Coordinate simultaneous engineering with suppliers
- Ensure components provisioning for all of the prototypes phases until C-samples.
- Secure that supplier selection complies with Targets/Budget and are included in the supplier panel.
- Ensure that the supplier is prepared for production, including capacity and all needed system updates
