The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement, Mail, Records and Telecommunications Branch, has an immediate opening for a Term under 9 months Postal Clerk located in Prince Albert. This position will provide back up to cover for sick leave and vacation. The hours of operation for this mailroom is between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The hours for this position vary.

This position is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail for a client base. Duties include sorting, metering, and handling of letters, packages and boxes. You will read, understand, memorize, and recall various pieces of information, such as codes, locations, etc. in order to sort and meter mail quickly and accurately. You will perform routine maintenance and operation of postage meter equipment, including changing ink cartridges and tapes. You will give information on postal rates and regulations.
