Position: Product Development / Junior Engineer

Reporting to: Operations Coordinator

Location: Woodstock, ON

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Accomplish assigned design projects for components or assemblies from initial concepts to final production models.

· Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and layouts to Workspace48 engineering standards.

· Create AutoCAD production-ready drawings for CNC software.

· Update or create technical product documentation such as parts manuals, operator manuals, service bulletins, etc.

· Participate in product testing, first-off fitups, and quality checks.

· Enhance the production process and design product improvements to our existing line, with the goal of doing more, faster, better, and with less.

· Problem-solve in a fast-paced environment: design a solution, and build a prototype.

· Design and launch new products demanded by the growing market within weeks.

· Work effectively in a collaborative design team.
