Homelessness Outreach Employment Advisor

Location: Cambridge area, with some office work in Histon, Cambridge CB24 9ZR

Fixed Term Contract (due to funding) until 30th March 2025

Funded by Cambridge City Council.

We’re looking for someone to hit the ground running

Hours: 28 hours a week

Salary: £26,382.34 pa rising to £31,765.10 pa which equates to £21,105.87 pa to £25,412.08 pa for 28 hours per week (plus 4% increase effective 1 April 2024)

The Role

You will be enabling homeless and vulnerably housed people in Cambridge, including former rough sleepers, to improve their life chances by helping them to identify their goals and take advantage of training, education, volunteering, work experience and employment opportunities to enable them to move on with their lives.
