Description : Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patients ability to perform daily tasks.

The responsibilities of Physical Therapist include (but are not limited to) : Evaluating a patients condition and needs Developing treatment plans to address a patients needs and help them meet specific goals Assessing a patients home and / or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patients needs and improve independence Training patients and their caregivers to use special equipment Assessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposes Qualifications : Bachelors Degree or high in Occupational Therapy or related discipline Current state License as an Occupational Therapist Current CPR certification One year Pediatric experience in home health, acute care, or out-patient...
