Performs intermediate skilled technical work assisting the general public with inquiries, preparing general ledger entries, assisting in service provider audit operations, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the assigned Department Leader.
• Interacts with the public by phone or in-person; directs individuals to the correct division or community resource for services needed.
• Prepares journal entries to the general ledger; makes corrections or adjustments.
• Assists in the preparation and tracking of data for Department and related financial reports.
• Requests, reviews, and track audits from service providers; provides funding source information per auditors' requests.
• Maintains and tracks relevant Department contracts.
• Prepares monthly billing statements for counties, agencies, and other purchasers of Department services.
