Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product designers and engineers to understand the requirements
• Utilize CAD software to design injection moulds, including cavities, cores, gating systems, and cooling channels.
• Consider material properties and production requirements when designing moulds to ensure optimal performance.
• Optimize mould designs for efficiency, including fast cycle times, minimal waste, and easy demoulding of parts.
• Conduct simulations and tests to validate mould designs and identify potential issues.
• Work closely with production engineers and technicians to ensure smooth implementation of moulds in the tool room.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the efficiency and quality of the injection moulding process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mould design and plastic injection mould manufacturing.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
