As R&D Engineer (m/f/d) you will be part of a global team in a research and development environment. With your experience in mechanical design for distribution transformers you will develop new solutions and support the further improvement of existing products. Your focus will be on structural analysis such as fatigue calculations using different FEM tools.

How You’ll Make An Impact
• Improving the mechanical design for wind power transformers.
• Implementing structural simulations of single components and complete transformers.
• Creating of mechanical models of transformers.
• Calculating and designing of specific components and final layouts.
• Implementing the documentation and specification for parts, assemblies, or entire components.
• Analysing of existing and new technical requirements of the wind power business.
• Driving innovations (e.g. floating wind power).
