Thomas Circle of Care, Inc. (TCOC) is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our board of directors. If you are committed to our mission and possess the skills and experience, we encourage you to apply. Increasing competencies in the areas of social work, working with vulnerable populations, representation of First Nations and Metis ancestry, and ways of knowing are being sought and will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in bimonthly board meetings.

• Contribute to setting the strategic direction of TCOC and decision-making processes.

• Setting goals and measures for corporate performance.

• Recruitment, empowerment, and monitoring of the Executive Director.

• Exercise fiduciary responsibilities in managing TCOC’s resources.

• Approve policies, procedures, and systems for implementing strategies, managing risk, and ensuring legal requirements, documents, and records have been properly prepared, approved, and maintained.
