Westfalia Fruit Products situated at Politsi, Tzaneen has a permanentvacancy for a suitably qualified and experiencedMeasurement and Testing Specialist (Laboratory Supervisor).

Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, the incumbent is responsible for overall accountability for maintaining laboratory compliance to ISO/IEC 17025 and delivers results to meet both the customers and the regulatory requirements and ensure that all microbiological and chemistry testing is conducted according to the specification.

Qualifications/ Experience
• Degree/Diploma in Microbiology, Food sciences or other closely related qualification
• 3 to 5 years' experience in laboratory management, measurement, and testing
• Exposure to and clear understanding of Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP and ISO22000/FSSC22000/BRCGS Standards etc.)

Knowledge
• Ensuring that microbiological testing complies with both GLP and GMP and meets all requirements
