Our client is a leading South African meat wholesaler supplying meat and other food products to sectors of the hotel, restaurant and hospitality industries. They are looking for a Logistics Manager to join their Gauteng team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Dispatch
• Plan, manage and evaluate all logistics operations.
• Manage, motivate and control all the staff working in your section on a daily basis.
• Check that staff are at work and report absentees timeously to HR.
• Ensure that staff wear clean undamaged uniforms as per company policy.
• Ensure that your line supervisors adhere to your instructions and perform their duties as per their job descriptions.
• Co-ordinate and handle the dispatch of goods.
• Plan the daily routes of all delivery vehicles.
