Under direct supervision from Foreman, operates one or more incinerators of varying sizes (1/2 ton to 10 ton) to burn debris, trash, and/or regulated medical waste (RMW) including sharps. Helps coordinate movement of materials to work site. Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs clean-up activities. Job may require moderate to heavy lifting. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Must be able to work in a Tyvek suit and full face respirator for short periods of time.
