Purpose of the Role

To effectively manage the entire supply chain through the cost effective sourcing of resources, accurate stock management and efficient distribution of finished goods.

Key Activities

1. Procurement

The accurate, timeous, and strategic sourcing of products and material based on technical knowledge of material and products. This includes pro-active negotiation in support of best price, quality and delivery time, the timeous and accurate placing of orders as well as following up on deliveries of orders. Responsible for the running of MRP in X3 for both the trading site as well as the manufacturing site. This is done to ensure that the needs of the organisation are met in support of plant efficiency as well as to address all business requirements in support of the corporate growth strategy.
