The role of Planning Unit Analyst - Northern Region - is attached to Merksem's regional dispatching.
This role involves mainly the following tasks
• Analysing outages, using grid calculation tools, as well as your own expertise, up to and including Day -1.
• Drawing up and monitoring the annual plan for grids of up to 150kV.
• Helping to draw up the annual plan for grids of 150kV and above in conjunction with the National Control Centre (NCC) and the Northern regional plan. It also involves responsibility for following up the progress of the project at subsequent quarterly meetings.
• Contacting customers (industrial, DSO and production) in order to plan outages. Dealing with customer requests and following them up.
• Coordinating and approving the weekly outage schedule.
• Taking part in weekly meetings with dispatching and ensuring the necessary coordination with the national dispatching planning department.
