Hilltop Dairies are looking for a Herdsperson to work on our grass-based spring calving herds.

The Job – Full-time and Part-Time weekend work available. We are also approved for the farm apprenticeship scheme for both farm technicians and farm managers we are happy to talk through this with anyone interested.

we have 2 farms one in Tulsk, Co Roscommon and the other in Ballymoe, Co Galway we are looking for people who want to work outdoors and with cows. We have excellent facilities and high performing cows. The farms have undergone lots of development in the last number of years, including 33 and 20-unit herringbone parlours, SenseHub, good roadways and well set up paddocks. We use contractors for most tractor work, calf rearing and spring night watch. As a herdsperson your main roles will include –

· Milking – assist to milk cows and monitor their health, maintain equipment and ensure hygiene and help with milk recordings
