Day Activities Facilitator (Instructor Grade)

Specified Purpose Contracts Covering Maternity Leave

LOCATION: LIMERICK CITY

Essential:
• Have a third level qualification relevant to the provision of service to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Demonstrate initiative, good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to design and deliver a therapeutic and stimulating activity program
• Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
• Ability to interpret the needs of others and assist in service planning
• Good interpersonal and adaptive communication skills
• Ability to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the service
• Excellent report writing and organisational skills
• Good IT skills
• Full Clean Manual Drivers License
Desirable:
• Experience of working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
