Electrical design engineers develop the next-generation technologies in HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) that enables transmission of energy over long distances which provides billions to access electricity. Power Elctronics Semiconductor Valves form the backbone of the High Power Converter used in this application. As an electrical valve design engineer, you will work in an R&D organization on different development projects critical to Hitachi Energy needs, with the opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve.

The current technology has enabled the connection of renewable energy such as large offshore wind and remote solar generators to the grid and brings clean energy to large cities.
