The School of Mathematical Sciences (SMS) at University of Science and Technology of China welcomes applications for Research Assistant Professor positions in the mathematical sciences. These are three-year positions. The School is seeking candidates with a strong background in pure math, applied math, probability and statistics, and computational math. Applicants should have an earned doctorate in the past five years and should have a demonstrated potential for excellence in research.

Normal duties consist of teaching at most two courses per academic year, conducting research. Collaborating with the staff at SMS is encouraged but not necessary.
