Starting $26.80 base rate plus incentives. We honour RPN experience up to 2 years for an increase in pay.

There are 37.5 BSO hours and 37.5 Evening Shift RPN hours.

Afternoon and Evening shift

Education

A Diploma in Nursing, as well as a certificate of competence as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario _AND _Current CPR certification.

Knowledge

Demonstrated extensive knowledge & skill working with residents with types of Dementia, Delirium, mental health, addictions, other neurological conditions, and or with acute behavioural changes.

Knowledge of LT.C. Home Act & Regulations pertinent to L.T.C.

Training/Knowledge of P.I.E.C.E.S., G.P.A. , U-First, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Recovery/Psychosocial rehab approaches or willingness to receive training.

Enhanced knowledge of family & caregiver needs best served by a behavioural support system.

Familiarity with RAI documentation, & care planning functions.
