We are currently seeking a meticulous and driven individual to join our client's finance team as an Assistant accountant. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of their financial processes and ensuring adherence to established controls. Role: Assistant Accountant

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of the position will be the processing of transactions and ensuring adherence to financial controls throughout accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashbook, and general ledger transaction processing. Key tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Capturing customer and supplier invoices
• Reviewing sales invoices and supporting documentation
• Assisting debtors and creditors clerks with query resolution
• Compiling monthly consolidated sales report
• Compiling monthly debtors and creditors age analysis
