Role Summary:
• An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Automation Engineer to join our client’s Automation Team working on a Pharmaceutical Greenfield Site Project in Tralee, Co. Kerry.
• The Automation Engineer will report directly to the Project Automation Lead and/or the Project Manager.
• This is initially a 2-year contract, with the possibility of a longer-term role, and there is a requirement to be onsite in Tralee 3 days per week.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for reliable and robust system design to meet business and process requirements for a Process Control System (DCS and PLC/SCADA) and vendor packaged equipment including integration to both upstream and downstream systems such as Filling Line, Utilities, MES, Data Historian etc.
• Coordination of Design team and Process Control System Vendor to achieve successful implementation of the Process Control System.
