What is the opportunity?

In this role the Assistant Manager AML Compliance will contribute to the Caribbean Banking Compliance Unit’s priorities by supporting the implementation and maintenance of the approved AML Compliance program in a manner that would provide reasonable assurance to senior management that the business complies with governing in-region AML regulations and with internal AML policies and procedures. The Assistant Manager will be expected to support the maintenance of procedures to assess, monitor and report on the Unit’s compliance with Caribbean Banking AML Compliance program and in region AML regulatory requirements, reporting to the Manager, AML Compliance and MLRO RBC Royal Bank N.V. (Manager AML Compliance). This role requires the use of critical thinking, sound judgement and the ability to make decisions quickly when evaluating issues and determining appropriate resolutions.
