JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Coordinate and collaborate with clients for import/export shipments
• Plan shipment routes according to nature of goods, cost, transit time, and security
• Work with carriers to schedule shipments, track shipment status and provide customers with status updates
• Negotiates with foreign shipping interests to contract for reciprocal freight handling agreements.
• Monitor the shipments from origin including carrier confirmation of loads, bookings and estimated time of arrival (ETA)
• Create and audit for accuracy BLs, AWBs, or any transportation document required to move a shipment
• Handle all Customs Documentation for consolidations in accordance with country-specific regulations
• Arrange payment, insurance, and other charges or collect payment on clients behalf

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/ College Degree , Custom Administration specializing in Tariff and Customs Laws Logistic/Transportation or equivalent
