We have an exciting opportunity for a registered pharmacy technician to work with a senior pharmacist and the Antimicrobial Management Team on the antimicrobial stewardship agenda for NHS Dumfries and Galloway. The post holder will provide data analysis on the prescribing of antimicrobials for the board, support antimicrobial ward rounds in DGRI and provide education and training on safe and effective antimicrobial use for the MDT across all directorates as required.
The post holder will join our small antimicrobial stewardship team which is based in the pharmacy department Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, Dumfries in beautiful south west Scotland. The hospital was opened in 2017 and benefits from electronic prescribing aiding data collection. You will also work closely with the Antimicrobial management team and support antimicrobial use across all clinical directorates.
