Actalent is hiring a RF Test Engineer for a client based in Barrie, ON.

Description

Testing RF products for the purpose of measuring frequency, converting frequency, measuring power, gain, VSWR, return loss, and noise interference.

Designing Test Fixtures and Setting up Test Equipment. Calibrating Analyzers, Reading Block Diagrams, and communicating with equipment through interfaces.

Using LabView to allow computers to interface with test equipment.

Programming Test Automation to automate manual test procedures.

Writing the test cases for how the equipment should be set up and calibrated.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Proficient in working with microwave and RF active passive components
• Excellent knowledge of test equipment
• Capable of testing and tuning RF amplifiers and passive components
• Strong English communication skills
• Minimum of five years of experience in the field
