Senior Social Worker - Court Team

As a Senior Social Worker in the Court Team, you will be responsible for a caseload of children who are subject to care proceedings. You will work closely with the children and their families, foster carers and other professionals involved to assess and develop permanence plans for the children you are allocated to, in line with Court timescales. The Court Team is a small, countywide team that supports children from initial hearing to conclusion of proceedings. We are a supportive, committed team who are looking for a Senior Social Worker who is as passionate about good practice and the children of Powys as we are. You should be a Social Worker with at least three years post-qualifying experience, including care proceedings and/ or Court Work. You should be a motivated Social Worker who is passionate about ensuring children’s plans and permanence are progressed in a timely, child-focussed manner.
